HOUSTON (AP) _ The Houston Texans go into this weekend's NFL draft in need of improving the offensive line. But the Texans will be hard-pressed not to pick Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson if Peterson is still available.
Houston has the tenth overall pick and draft analysts have projected Peterson to be chosen anywhere from third by Cleveland to 12th by Buffalo.
Peterson is a native of Palestine, Texas, and Texans fans are still upset Houston didn't draft Texas Longhorns quarterback Vince Young last year.
Houston coach Gary Kubiak insists the team will use its pick to take the best player available regardless of position.
