SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Barry Bonds has moved a little closer to Hank Aaron's all-time home run mark.

The San Francisco Giants outfielder slugged his 739th career homer in the 2nd inning of Saturday's game against Arizona. Bonds is within 17 homers of breaking Aaron's career record of 755.

It was his second homer in five career at-bats against Edgar Gonzalez, and his fifth of the season.
