ELGIN, Okla. (AP) -- Two Oklahoma Army soldiers who died a week apart while serving in Iraq are buried at Fort Sill National Cemetery. Twenty-four-year-old Specialist Ryan Scott Michael Dallam of Norman, died April 6th in Baghdad, while 20-year-old Corporal Wilfred Flores Junior of Lawton, died March 31st, also in Baghdad.

Both died when the vehicles in which they were riding hit improvised explosive devices.

Dallam's funeral services were Monday at Fort Sill, one day after similar services were held for Flores inside the same chapel building at the Army base.

Dallam followed his father and grandfather into the Army. His father, Scott Dallam, says Ryan Dallam had been scheduled to return to Oklahoma this week on leave, said his father, Scott Dallam.

Flores joined the Junior ROTC program at Eisenhower High School in Lawton, where his parents, Vicky and Wilfred Flores, settled after both retired from the military.
