STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) Tyler Mach goes 2-4 with 4 RBIs and 3 other Oklahoma State players homer Monday as the Cowboys beat Kansas State 9-6.
OSU moves to 27-9 overall and 8-4 in Big 12 Conference play while Kansas State is 23-13 and 5-7.
Mach's 2-run double put OSU ahead 2-0 in the 1st inning.
The Cowboys led 4-1 in the 3rd inning after a solo home run by Rebel Ridling, but fell behind 5-4 in the top of the 4th as Kansas State scored 4 runs, 2 on a single by Derek Bunker.
OSU regained the lead in the bottom of the 4th on a 2-run single by Mach. The Cowboys added 3 insurance runs in the 7th on a solo home run by Corey Brown -- his 15th of the baseball season -- and a 2-run homer by Jordy Mercer.
Justin Friend relieved Matt Gardner in the 4th inning and picked up the pitching win for the Cowboys. Friend allowed 3 hits and struck out 4 in 5 1-3 innings.
Kansas State starter Ben Hornbeck took the loss.
