A traveling dance team from Moore came to Tulsa for a competition over the weekend. They left as crime victims. According to Tulsa Police, the trailer that held the team's props was stolen.
The trailer belonged to the parent of one of the girl's on the team. Team officials tell the News On 6, the trailer has an OU medical symbol on the back and a Harley Davidson sticker on the front.
"I think it’s awful if that's all they have to do is steal trailers and steal other peoples things then they need to work for it because that's what we do, we work for our things," says Denise Schmidt with Applause Dance Studio.
The group is asking the thieves to give them back their props. The tag of that cargo trailer is 844-70C.
The dance team's next competition is scheduled for June in Las Vegas.
