AUSTIN (AP) -- A Mexican citizen who ran brothels in Oklahoma City and other states is being sentenced to six years and eight months in federal prison in Texas.

Juan Balderas-Orosco had pleaded guilty earlier to bringing hundreds of women into the country illegally and forcing them to have sex with up to 40 men a day.

Authorities say many of the men were also illegal immigrants.

Court documents and testimony show the brothels operated in Oklahoma City; Austin and Fort Worth, Texas; and Las Vegas.
