ROSENDALE, Wis. (AP) _ Three tractor-trailer rigs crashed at a rural intersection, killing two people and spilling liquid nitrogen and diesel fuel that shut down a state highway for hours.

Fond du Lac County Sheriff Mick Fink said the crash Tuesday caused the tanker to overturn and spill about 3,000 gallons of liquid nitrogen.

A hazardous material team from the Fond du Lac Fire Department cleaned up the spilled material and spilled diesel fuel.

The sheriff's department Wednesday identified the drivers who died as 21-year-old Kyle Boegh of Appleton and 65-year-old Laurae Weiss of Waukesha. The other driver, Harold Heider, 62, of rural Fond du Lac, was treated at the scene.

Fink said one semi was turning onto a road from state Highway 26 when it was rear-ended by another semi and pushed into the path of the third.
