Police Arrest Suspect Following Assault

A Tulsa man is arrested overnight after fighting with several Tulsa Police officers. The incident happened around 2 a.m. Monday, when police officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 4100 block of West 8th Street.

The unidentified 27-year-old man got into an argument with his wife and apparently assaulted her. The suspect tried to walk away from police officers, then got into a scuffle with the officers. One officer was punched. The man was subdued with a taser and will be okay.

The suspect was arrested for assault on a number of police officers and domestic assault and taken to the Tulsa County jail.
