TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Jonathan Herrera breaks a tie with a run-scoring single in the 6th-inning, and the Tulsa Drillers add three more runs in the 7th as they beat the Corpus Christi Hooks 8-5 Sunday.
Corpus Christi scored 3 1st-inning runs off Tulsa starter Ching-Lung Lo, but he settled down and lasted 6 innings, allowing 4 runs and 8 hits.
With the game tied 4-all in the 6th, Jeff Dragicevich walked, took 2nd when Rick Guarno was hit by a pitch by Corpus Christi reliever Evan Englebrook and scored on Herrera's 2-out single.
Matt Miller and Dragicevich had RBI singles in Tulsa's 7th-inning outburst, while Guarno added a run-scoring double.
Steven Register pitched a scoreless 9th inning to record his first save of the baseball season for Tulsa.
Joe Gaetti finished 3-5 for the Drillers, while Miller and Herrera each had a pair of hits. Osvaldo Fernando went 4-4 with an RBI for Corpus Christi.
