COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) -- A suspect has been arrested Thursday in College Station over the stabbing death of a Rice basketball player.

College Station police say sophomore guard Jonathan Bailey was attacked early Thursday after a confrontation at a bar. He died of his injuries.

His twin brother, Janson Bailey, also was stabbed and is being treated.

Police are investigating reports that the 22-year-old brothers were involved in an altercation in the bar, some people were asked to leave and a fight later broke out.

Police detained two suspects for question, then arrested one on a murder charge.

Arraignment is pending.
