TULSA, Okla. (AP) A Tulsa elementary school was locked down for a brief time Thursday morning after a student reported hearing a gunshot.

The student told a crossing guard about 8 a.m. outside Greeley Elementary in northwest Tulsa he heard a single gunshot.

School officials kept all students inside the building while police investigated but no evidence of a crime was found and normal activities resumed after about 15 minutes.
