A number of traffic accidents kept Tulsa Police officers busy. Around 2 a.m. Thursday, a man driving south on Riverside Drive ran off the road near 55th Street. His vehicle snapped a utility pole and flipped the vehicle upside down. The driver of the vehicle ran from the scene and hasn't been found.

Before Tulsa Police officers cleared that accident scene, they were called to north Tulsa where a driver ran into a ditch. It happened near Pine and Evanston. The driver and his passenger ran off on foot. They were later found in the neighborhood. The pair face a variety of alcohol related charges.

Seven people, including five children had to be rushed to a Tulsa hospital after an accident at Apache and Lewis Wednesday evening. It happened when two cars collided at the intersection. Tulsa Police say a 15-year-old in one of the cars wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle.

The teen was taken to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition. The five children, ages 2 to 8 years of age and a 26-year-old woman are said to be fair condition at several Tulsa hospitals.
