Murder Suspect Arrested

An arrest has been made in a 5-year-old murder case out of McAlester. John Peasha Jr. and his brother, Gerald, are in the Pittsburg County jail on a $1 million bond each. John Peasha Jr. was booked on a first-degree murder complaint. Gerald Peasha for accessory after the fact. They're accused of killing John's wife, Crystal in May of 2002.

Crystal Peasha disappeared and her body was found months later. She had a 3-month-old daughter at the time.

John Peasha told McAlester Police investigators at the time that his wife disappeared after the two argued and he never saw her again.
