STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma State first baseman Rebel Ridling receives Big 12 Conference player of the week honors after leading the Cowboys to a three-game weekend sweep of league rival Baylor.
The junior from Sentinel hit .615 in the three games against the Bears. Ridling went 8-for-13 with two home runs and eight RBIs and scored six runs as OS-U moved into first place in league play at 5-and-1.
OSU is 22-and-6 overall.
For the season, Ridling is hitting .371 with four homers and 32 RBIs.
He is the fourth OSU player to be honored this season by the Big 12 as a player or pitcher of the week, joining right fielder Corey Brown and pitcher Oliver Odle and Justin Friend.
