CASCAIS, Portugal (AP) Oklahoma State junior golfer Pablo Martin-Benavides has become the first amateur to win the Estoril Open on the PGA European Tour.

Martin-Benavides shot a 3-under 68 on Sunday to finish at 7-under 277 and 1-stroke ahead of Raphael Jacquelin in the tournament in Cascais, Portugal.

Former Cowboy golfer Alex Noren began the final round with a 1-shot lead but finished with a 76 and in a tie for 11th place.
