ARDMORE, Okla. (AP) A southern Oklahoma district attorney says he has shut down a drug task force that is under investigation by the Attorney General's office.
Cotton County District Attorney Craig Ladd says a "significant sum of cash" seized during an investigation last year went missing, and now there aren't enough resources left to run the operation.
Ladd says he requested the investigation from the Attorney General's office last month, and it is still ongoing.
