A teenage girl in Tulsa is in serious condition after she fell off a speeding car, said police. Tulsa Police tell the News On 6, several young girls were horsing around, riding on the hood and roof of a moving car Wednesday evening. The car was speeding through a neighborhood near 2100 block of North Oswego, when a 15 year-old girl fell off the moving car and hit her head, officers said. She was rushed to a Tulsa hospital in serious condition. Now, Tulsa Police are questioning the unidentified 27-year-old driver of the car.

"Just a sad situation, adults acting like children," said Tulsa Police Sergeant Mike Williams. “We're gonna take her down to our detective division, have her interviewed. After we hear what's being said and the condition of the child, at that time charges will be filed."

The speed limit in the neighborhood is 25 M.P.H., but witnesses told police the car was going faster than the posted limit when the girl fell.

Tulsa Police are still investigating the incident.
