The OHP Bomb Squad arrived in Muskogee to investigate a device found outside a Jewish Synagogue Saturday night.
Muskogee police received a call just after 7 p.m. Saturday that a possible bomb was found outside the Temple Beth Ahaba, located at 206 S. 7th Street, said officials.
Police evacuated nearby buildings, and set up a perimeter from Broadway to Elgin and 4th Street to 9th Street.
"It hasn't been confirmed that the device is a bomb," said Muskogee Police Officer Brad Holt. "We're currently waiting for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol bomb squad to make the determination."
