DE QUEEN, Ark. (AP) _ A lawyer for an Arkansas jail inmate suspected in a double homicide in Oklahoma has provided authorities with a hand-drawn map of where to find one of the bodies, but denies any involvement in the murders.
Mickey Buchanan of Ashdown, Arkansas, says 31-one-year-old John Griffin Junior gave the map to Sevier County sheriff's officials Wednesday, and the body was found shortly afterward.
Griffin is a suspect in the deaths of 45-year-old Roberto Barrientos and 34-year-old Jason Carl Wells.
The two Arkansas men disappeared in December after being seen near Eagletown, Oklahoma. Barrientos' truck was found in nearby Idabel.
When Griffin was arrested, authorities found items his truck that were identified as belonging to Barrientos.
Buchanan says Griffin decided to draw the map after a body was found March 10th about six miles west of the Arkansas state line in McCurtain County, Oklahoma.
That body was sent to Oklahoma City for an autopsy and DNA tests.
The body discovered Wednesday has not been identified.
