SALINA, Kan. (AP) _ Northeastern Oklahoma A&M's quest for the National Junior College Athletic Association Division One women's basketball title ends with a 73-53 loss to Central Arizona in the tournament quarterfinals.

Shay Holmes led the Lady Norse with 14 points. NEO struggled offensively, hitting just 31.3% of its shots.

NEO falls to 25-7 and will play a consolation-round game Friday against Copiah-Lincoln of Mississippi. The Lady Norse could finish as high as 5th in the 16-team tournament.
