WAYNE, Okla. (AP) _ Authorities found a tractor-trailer driver from Norman dead in the sleeper cab of his vehicle, which was parked along Interstate 35 in McClain County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said that the estimated time of death for Charles Hodge, 64, was between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday.
Authorities said Hodge's tractor-trailer was parked on the east shoulder of I-35 near Wayne. After receiving a call Thursday night about an unlit, parked tractor-trailer near the highway, OHP Trooper Dennis Dickens investigated and found Hodge's body lying down in the vehicle's sleeper cab.
Hodge was pronounced dead at the scene due to medical complications, the OHP said. Authorities are classifying the death as a non-chargeable fatality.
