SALINA, Kan. (AP) Northeastern Oklahoma A&M advances to the second round of the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I women's basketball tournament.

NEO upset 4th-seeded Monroe of New York 76-67 Wednesday in Salina, Kansas, as Whitney Conerly and Regiane Araujo scored 13 points each.

The Lady Norse, seeded 13th in the 16-team tournament, will play 5th-seeded Central Arizona Thursday afternoon at 4, with the winner advancing to the semifinals.
