UNDATED (AP) _ Gilbert Arenas was able to keep the Washington Wizards atop the NBA's Southeast Division Wednesday night.
Arenas capped a 42-point night by draining a buzzer-beating basket that gave the Wizards a 108-106 win at Seattle. He hit six 3-pointers in topping the 40-point mark for the ninth time this season.
Antawn Jamison added 21 points and 7 rebounds for the Wizards, who stayed a half-game ahead of hard-charging Miami.
Jason Williams had 21 points and 8 assists as the Heat won for the tenth time in their last eleven games, beating Atlanta 91-83. Williams provided eight of the Heat's final 12 points, including a 19-footer that put Miami ahead 85-80 with 63 seconds remaining.
Dallas improved its league-best record to 56-11 by winning at Cleveland 98-90. Dirk Nowitzki scored 15 of his 23 points in the 2nd half of the Mavericks' fourth straight win.
Tim Duncan scored 27 points and the San Antonio Spurs ended a two-game skid with a 90-72 win over the slumping Indiana Pacers. Francisco Elson had 14 points as the Spurs dealt the Pacers their 13th loss in 14 games.
Toronto has a six-game lead in the Atlantic Division following the Raptors' 92-85 win over Orlando. Chris Bosh finished with 32 points and 16 rebounds while outplaying fellow All-Star Dwight Howard, who had 17 points and 12 boards.
The Los Angeles Clippers beat Milwaukee 104-103 on Jason Hart's tip-in with 3-seconds left. Corey Maggette scored 22 points and Elton Brand added 21 as the Clippers moved a half-game ahead of Golden State in the scramble for the final Western Conference playoff berth.
Randy Foye had 24 points and the Minnesota Timberwolves ended an eleven-game road losing streak by downing Sacramento 95-89. Kevin Garnett added 17 points and 18 rebounds for the Wolves, who stayed two and a-half games behind the Clippers
And Charlotte scored 19 straight points in the 2nd half to erase an 18-point deficit in a 92-85 win at Boston. Raymond Felton chipped in 19 points, 5-assists and 3-steals while Matt Carroll added 15 points.
