OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahoma County prosecutors have decided not to file charges in the shooting death of 6-year-old boy.

Donald Hastings died March 8 when an accidental shotgun discharge struck him in the face while he and two other children were playing in a sport utility vehicle in northeast Oklahoma City near Interstate 35.

District Attorney David Prater said investigators were unable to identify anyone who might have been culpable for Donald's death.

"It was determined to be just a straight tragic accident," Prater said.

Donald was buried on Thursday.
