A bogus bomb threat called into Tulsa Community College's downtown campus caused a significant disruption on Tuesday.
Investigators say someone called 911 just after 11 a.m. Tuesday, and told the operator there was a bomb inside the TCC main campus. The threat prompted the evacuation of the campus, located at 9th and Boston, and the closure of several downtown streets around the campus.
The bomb squad along with bomb sniffing dogs searched the school. A device was found in a bathroom, but it was a fake bomb.
Things are now back to normal in downtown Tulsa, the streets are open and classes at TCC will go on as scheduled Tuesday night.
