The Game U Xbox 360 College Tour made a stop at the TCC Southeast Campus on Monday. Students got a chance to play Microsoft’s newest video console, the Xbox 360, along with today’s most popular games, like Halo 2. TCC recruiters hope Monday’s tour stop sparked some interest in a few of their upcoming computer classes.
"Hoping to open some peoples eyes to know that there is a degree that they might be interested in when they might not otherwise think so," said Michelle Recoy with Tulsa Community College.
TCC offers an Intro to Game Development class for those interested in creating video games.
The goal of the Game U Xbox 360 College Tour is to educate people on the future of gaming and home entertainment. The tour is traveling to about two dozen college campuses nationwide; its next stop is on Tuesday at OSU in Stillwater.
