UNDATED (AP) _ Dallas hauls is 16-game winning streak into Los Angeles to take on the Lakers as part of a nine-game NBA schedule on Sunday. The Maverics boast a league-best 51-9 record as they chase the NBA mark of 72 wins in a season set by the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls. But the Mavs would have to win out to break that record.

Sunday afternoon at the Staples Center it'll be the LA Clippers, who currently hold down the eighth spot in the West, hosting the Eastern Conference-leading Detroit Pistons.

Atlantic Division leading Toronto is hosting Seattle this afternoon.

Denver's at Sacramento and Houston is hosting Orlando as part of day play.

Later on, it's Chicago at Boston, Cleveland home to Indiana, Washington at Miami in a matchup of the first- and second-place clubs in the Southeast Division, and Golden State plays at Portland.
