STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Matt Mangini goes 3-for-4 with four RBIs and scored twice as Oklahoma State completes a sweep of its three-game baseball series against Nicholls State with a 12-4 win.
Oklahoma State moved to 10-and-3 and extended its winning streak to five games, thanks in good part to a seven-run third inning outburst after OSU fell behind 3-to-2 Sunday.
Mangini had an RBI double in the inning. Matt Lopez also had a two-run single and Keanon Simon hit a three-run home run before the inning ended with the Cowboys ahead 9-3.
Mangini added a two-run home run in the fifth inning. Also for Oklahoma State, Tyler Mach went 2-for-5 with two R-B-Is and two runs scored and Lopez was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored.
Nicholls State falls to 3-and-10.
