NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Aaron Ivey's 9th-inning single drove home Jackson Williams with the decisive run on Sunday as Oklahoma completed a sweep of its three-game baseball series with California-Riverside with a 2-1 win.
Oklahoma (9-4) extended its winning streak to seven games and gave reliever Heath Taylor (1-0) his first career pitching win with the Sooners.
UC Riverside (10-7) scored its run in the top of the 1st inning. Carl Uhl led off the game with a double to left-center field, stole 3rd base and scored on a passed ball.
Oklahoma tied the game in the 5th, as Aaron Reza's second hit of the day, an RBI single, scored Aljay Davis. Ivey also had 2-hits for the Sooners.
Oklahoma starter Brad Burns allowed 6-hits in 5 1/3 innings before giving way to Taylor, who allowed the Highlanders just 1-hit in 3 2/3 innings.
UC Riverside junior Dan Runzler (0-4) pitched his first career complete game and scattered 7-hits while walking 4 and striking out 5.
