OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Lomega wins its ninth girls high school basketball state championship, holding off Kingfisher County rival Dover 71-62 in the Class B title game at State Fair Arena.

Lomega beat Dover for the third time this season as the Raiders won their first championship since 1992.

Lomega is second on Oklahoma's all-time list for girls basketball titles, trailing only Byng, which has 11.

Lomega finishes the season at 26-5 while Dover closes at 26-7.

Lomega took the lead for good less than 4-minutes into the game Saturday and led by as many as 13 points in the 2nd half.

Dover rallied within 3-points in the final minutes but came no closer.

Rachel Wilczek led Lomega with 21 points while Hillary Winter added 18 and Samantha Geis added 16.

Dover senior Krista Bullis led all scorers with 28 points.
