McALESTER, Okla. (AP) -- A Eufaula woman dies after her pickup truck strikes a concrete barrier and rolls on US Highway 69 near McAlester. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol also reports the death of an Oologah man whose car rolled into a fence after a collision in Rogers County.

Troopers say 46-year-old Connie Davis died of head and internal injuries at the scene of the 3:44 p.m. accident Tuesday in Pittsburg County. Troopers say Davis was driving north on US 69 when the vehicle ran off the roadway, struck a concrete barrier then ran off the other side. The truck rolled two-and-a-half times and came to rest on its top. 7-year-old Marshall Davis, a passenger, was treated and released.

Near Oologah, 62-year-old Jerry Cartwright was headed north on Oklahoma Highway 88 when the driver of another car traveled left of the center line and collided with two vehicles, including one driven by Cartwright.
Cartwright was flown by medical helicopter to a Tulsa hospital, where he died Tuesday night. No one else was hurt in the accident.
