WACO, Texas (AP) _ Michael Jarman strikes out 14 and lasts into the ninth inning, and Oral Roberts snaps a five-game losing streak with a 4-to-2 win at Baylor.
Jarman allowed four hits, walked four and had a span Sunday where he struck out seven of 10 batters. His 14 strikeouts were a record at Baylor Ballpark.
Brian Van Kirk had two hits for ORU, which never trailed and held Baylor to four hits.
Baylor pitcher Jeff Mandel lasted seven innings, allowing three runs on five hits. Raynor Campbell and Drew Bias each drove in runs for the Bears.
Baylor loaded the bases in the ninth, but ORU's Erich Crichton forced Beamer Weems into a fielder's choice to end the game and pick up his first save.
ORU is 3-and-5 while Baylor falls to 7-and-4.
