NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Norman police are searching for the driver of a vehicle who struck two pedestrians early Sunday morning on the city's northeast side.
Police say 28-year-old Jonnie Markland and 24-year-old Michelle Busby were putting gas into a vehicle when someone driving a black Dodge Intrepid hit the two and then fled the scene.
Both victims were transported to Norman Regional Hospital, where Markland was listed in critical condition with life-threatening injuries and transferred to an Oklahoma City hospital.
Busby remained in serious condition Sunday.
Police discovered the suspect's vehicle nearby, but the driver fled and hasn't been located.
