WASHINGTON (AP) _ Jurors resumed deliberations Thursday in the perjury and obstruction trial of former White House aide I. Lewis ``Scooter'' Libby.

The jury of eight women and four men began deliberating late Wednesday morning. Libby is charged with lying and obstructing the investigation into the 2003 leak of CIA operative Valerie Plame's identity.

Prosecutors say he concocted a story to cover up discussions he had with reporters regarding Plame. Libby said he gave investigators his best recollection of what happened and said any mistakes were simply errors in memory.
