A Tulsa Police officer has nine stitches in his head after a man attacked him on Wednesday. <br/><br/>Police got a call that Corey Crisp was tearing down streets signs near the Tulsa International Airport.

A Tulsa Police officer has nine stitches in his head after a man attacked him on Wednesday.

Police got a call that Corey Crisp was tearing down streets signs near the Tulsa International Airport. When a police officer approached him, police say Crisp knocked the officer to the ground and kicked him until he was unconscious. Tulsa Police say Crisp kept kicking the officer with steel-toed boots.

Crisp is a registered sex offender who was convicted of rape. He faces a current charge for violating that registration.
