NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Former President George HW Bush will visit the University of Oklahoma for a discussion about the presidency and the evolution of a president's duties.
Bush will join presidential historian David McCullough in the discussion on March 7th starting at 4 p.m. in the Paul F Sharp Concert Hall at the Catlett Music Center.
And at 6:30 p.m. former presidential aides Jack Valenti and Kenneth Duberstein will participate in a dinner and panel discussion. Valenti was chief of staff to President Lyndon Johnson and Duberstein was President Ronald Reagan's chief of staff.
Bush was OU's commencement speaker in 1997 and is the father of current President George W Bush.
