OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The New Orleans Hornets return to play Tuesday night following a break for the NBA All-Star game.

The Hornets are at Charlotte and have a chance to move into 8th-place in the race for eight spots in the playoffs.

The Hornets are currently tied with the LA Clippers for 9th-but only a half-game behind Minnesota. A Hornets win and a Minnesota loss Tuesday would move New Orleans into 8th-place. The Clippers are also in action with a home game against Phoenix.

Tip-off for the Hornets-Bobcats game is at 6 p.m. in Charlotte.
