BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) Former Tulsa Union football coach Kevin Wright is being hired as offensive coordinator at Western Kentucky.

Wright coached at Union just one year after taking over following the resignation of Bill Blankenship.

Union was 7-4 last season and Wright resigned shortly after the season ended.

Wright is a graduate of Western Kentucky and the school is in the processing of moving from NCAA Division IAA to Division IA.
