LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) -- The College Baseball Foundation is honoring Oklahoma State pitcher Oliver Odle for his performance in the Cowboys season-opening tournament in Texas.

Odle threw 7-shutout innings striking out 10 and giving up just 4-hits as OSU beat McNeese State 7-0.

The foundation is naming Odle to its weekly honor roll in which it recognizes outstanding performances by college baseball players.

Odle was named earlier this week the Big 12 pitcher of the week for his performance against McNeese.
