OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A state audit shows officials of a since-disbanded Tulsa County rural water district made numerous mistakes and violated at least one law, but they likely will not face legal charges.

The report released Monday by state Auditor and Inspector Jeff McMahan says officials of Tulsa County Rural Water District Number 2 showed nepotism, violated the state Open Records Act, were not charged for water and improperly charged customers.

The audit indicates that the district's board members combined to receive more than $13,000 in reduced water rates.

A spokeswoman for McMahan says that Tulsa County District Attorney Tim Harris does not plan to file charges.

Harris says there is insufficient evidence to prove a crime had been committed.
