Moisture will return to Oklahoma early in the week, either in the form of rain or snow, with temperatures rising as the weekend approaches.

The National Weather Service said Monday will be cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rainfall possible in southeastern Oklahoma. Highs will be in the mid 40s to lower 60s.

Overnight lows Monday will range from the upper teens in the Panhandle to the lower 40s in southeastern Oklahoma. There will be a chance for rain and snow across northern Oklahoma and a chance of rain in the southern half of the state.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, with a chance of snow in northeastern Oklahoma and a chance of rain in southeastern Oklahoma. Highs will be in the upper 20s to upper 30s in most of the state, but could reach the upper 40s in far southeastern parts of the state.

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of light snow, with highs in the upper 20s to upper 30s. High temperatures will climb into the lower 30s to lower 40s by Thursday and into the mid 40s to mid 50s by Friday.
