DENVER (AP) A man considered to be a person of interest in the death of Denver Broncos cornerback and former Oklahoma State standout Darrent Williams has been convicted of an unrelated parole violation.

Authorities say 23-year-old Willie Clark was sentenced to 180 in prison for living in a different house than the one listed in his parole agreement. He will get credit for 29 days he has spent in jail since he was arrested January 5th.

Police have said they hoped Clark could provide information to help find Williams' killer. They said his name came up in the investigation but declined to give specifics.

Clark's attorney, Michael Andre, has said Clark has no information about the shooting. Andre didn't immediately return a call to The Associated Press.

Williams was shot in the neck and two other people were wounded as they were riding away from a New Year's Eve party at a Denver nightclub.
