DALLAS (AP) _ Defending regular season champion Texas is being picked to win the Big 12 baseball title this year with Oklahoma State second in a poll of conference coaches.

Oklahoma is fifth in the pre-season poll.

The Longhorns received seven of ten first place votes while OSU is the choice of two coaches to win the league. Texas A&M received the other first-place vote but finished seventh in the poll.

Defending Big 12 tournament champion Kansas is picked to finish ninth in the league.
