OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahoma State University President David Schmidly will meet with staff, faculty and students at the University of New Mexico where he's a finalist to become president.
Schmidly says he was approached about applying for the job and he's now one of five finalists. He also owns a home in New Mexico and has a son living in the state.
Schmidly was president of Texas Tech when he became president of OSU in 2002.
