ELMHURST, Ill. (AP) _ Oral Roberts University's Elisha Turek is the Mid-Continent Conference's women's basketball Player of the Week.

The Council Bluffs, Iowa, native earned the honor after breaking the Mid-Con all-time career rebounding record while averaging 28 points and 11.5 rebounds in the Golden Eagles' two conference wins last week. The senior also scored a career-high 32 points in a win over Centenary.

She pulled down 15 rebounds in the win against Centenary, moving her past Oakland's Amanda Batcha for first place on the Mid-Con all-time rebounding list.

It's the fifth time this season Turek received Player of the Week honors.
