The Tulsa School Board will decide today whether to hire a lobbyist to help find education funding.
The plan calls for spending $90,000 to hire a professional lobbyist to represent Tulsa Public Schools in Washington DC. A local lobbying firm would be hired.
Administrators say the $90,000 investment could help the school district secure $20-million in new funding over the next three years.
