OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – AT&T says Oklahoma has become one of the first states in the nation to have broadband service in rural areas.
The project by AT&T provides high-speed internet access to Oklahomans in 68 rural communities.
AT&T Oklahoma President Don Cain says the high-speed access will mean better medical care in rural areas and give students in those areas a chance to participate in distance learning with state colleges and universities.
