While many eastern Oklahoma towns still are having a tough time recovering from the storm, others say they have taken big steps in the recovery process.
The city of Chouteau restored power to more than 90 percent of its residents on Wednesday. Volunteer firefighters, who have been living at the fire station and sleeping on air mattresses while working around the clock, say things have finally started to settle down.
Fire Chief Ted Key: "today was a whole lot better than yesterday. It's slowed down a whole lot, it's almost halfway manageable."
The city has set up a shelter at First Baptist Church in Chouteau for any residents who are still without power.
