GORE, Okla. (AP) -- Union Pacific workers Thursday removed seven railroad cars from a creek where they fell after derailing on railroad bridge in Muskogee County.
No injuries are reported and investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the derailment.
Union Pacific spokesman Joe Arbona says the falling cars caused the bridge to collapse Wednesday afternoon near Gore. He says the workers hope to have the bridge and tracks repaired by Saturday.
Arbona says it's not clear if ice in eastern Oklahoma contributed to the accident.
He says crews using a huge vacuum cleaner-like device are cleaning up the spilled coal. Each rail car was carrying 142 tons of coal.
The derailed cars were part of a 133-car train traveling from Wyoming to Arkansas.
