The #21 Texas Longhorns pay a visit to #12 Oklahoma State on Tuesday.
The game is the 68th in the series between UT and the Cowboys. Oklahoma State has won five of the last eight meetings, including last year’s 81-60 win in Stillwater, but Texas leads the all-time series by the slimmest of margins, 34-33.
The Cowboys (15-2, 1-1) are shooting 50.2% from the field, and 75% from the line. Mario Boggan and JamesOn Curry lead the Pokes, the dynamic duo combine for an average of 39.6 ppg.
Texas (13-3, 3-0) is shooting 54.7% from the floor, and when they come to town they’re bringing freshman swingman Kevin Durant. On Monday Durant nabbed three honors, the National Player of the Week by both ESPN.com and The Sporting News, and the Phillips 66 Big 12 Conference Player of the Week. Durant averaged 31 points and 13 rebounds in UT's victories against Missouri and the Oklahoma Sooners last week.
No. 12 Oklahoma State host the 21st-ranked Texas Longhorns Tuesday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena. Tip-off is at 8 p.m.
